I have been staying here for years and have never had a problem. Even before the remodel the place was always perfectly fine. Now it is a very nice place. I doubt you'll find better for the price. As good or better than any Chain motel out there. The complainers must have never been anyplace before. I've had some bad experiences in many other presumably upper scale places. Welcome Inn is better.

I’ve been staying here with my kiddo for an extended stay and it’s a nice place with lots of convenient places to eat, shop, and enjoy. The freeway is very close and it’s a safe and quiet place that has staff available at all hours. They accept pets at no extra charge! And the rooms come with mounted TV with cable tv, free WiFi , small fridge, AC/Heat, microwave, windows that open and close with shudders, and a lock on the door with peep hole . There is an ice machine on site and ample parking. The usual things that are not available in the room—coffee machine, iron, blow dryer, Holy Bible, or landline telephone. But it’s all good because I never use those items anyway.
An odd room with a HUGE hole in the wall under the bathroom sink ...However, on the plus side, they have amazing unending hot water and their towels smell Divine!!
By far the best staff I've experienced in a long time ..it's my home until I have a home and I appreciate this place more than I can describe ..
This is best Motel Ive ever stayed at. It's quiet, the manager is a really nice accommodating and fair guy. The rooms are clean and it's not full of drug addicts walking around like zombies. You really can't ask for more in a motel. Love this place 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for decently priced quiet place to rest. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have been staying at the welcome in for the last two months and I absolutely love it there. It’s comfortable it feels like Home. The people are awesome. That work in the office. Good people nice small complex. It feels like a studio apartment instead of a motel. Not a lot of creepy people stay there normal people they’re just really great. I love it there. It’s my favorite place.. I miss it already
We pulled into San Diego for the Marine Corps graduation… this was the closest to the base with reasonable pricing. The young lady at the desk was really nice. The room was clean, but it was somewhat humid in the room. We figured it was a seedy hotel but no one bothered us nor was there any disturbance on the property.
